Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Sifti private beta. Please read them before creating an account or submitting a link.

Invite-only beta

This document describes the current invite-only beta service and was last updated on 13 September 2026.

1. Operator and agreement

Sifti is operated by Kirill Domnin, Fritz Dietrich Kahlenbergstraat, 1087 LL Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact: hello@getsifti.com. By creating an account or using Sifti, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old. You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms; if applicable law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must obtain it before using Sifti. If you use Sifti for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

3. The beta service

Sifti accepts a public URL and uses automated extraction and AI systems to produce a concise assessment of whether the page may be worth your attention. You may keep or discard a result, organise saved results and provide feedback.

This is an early private beta. Features, limits and availability may change, and the service may contain errors or experience interruptions. We may limit invitations, daily Sifts or access when reasonably necessary to operate the beta safely.

4. Your account

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • Keep your password confidential and use a password not reused elsewhere.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

5. Submitted links and your responsibilities

You retain any rights you have in information you submit. You give us a limited permission to process the URL and public page content solely to provide, secure and improve Sifti. You confirm that you are permitted to submit and process the URL and that doing so does not violate law, confidentiality, access restrictions or third-party rights.

Sifti is designed for public pages only. The separate Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.

6. AI results and no professional advice

Sifti's summaries, recommendations, scores and labels are generated automatically. They may be incomplete, outdated, misleading or wrong. Always inspect the original source and use your own judgement. Sifti does not provide medical, legal, financial, employment, credit or other professional advice and must not be used as the sole basis for high-impact decisions.

7. Ownership

Sifti and its software, design, branding and original service content are owned by the operator or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the beta as intended. They do not transfer any intellectual-property rights to you. Third-party pages remain subject to their owners' rights and terms.

8. Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without payment or restriction to evaluate and improve Sifti. This permission does not give us ownership of personal data contained in feedback, which remains covered by the Privacy Notice.

9. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Sifti or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, create security or legal risk, exceed service limits, or if the beta is discontinued. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the beta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without promises that every page can be processed or every result will be accurate or available. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for intent or other matters that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to those mandatory protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our failure to exercise reasonable care, for your reliance on an AI-generated assessment without checking the source, or for events reasonably outside our control. Consumer rights and remedies available under mandatory law remain unaffected.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. This choice does not deprive an EEA consumer of mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence or any right to bring proceedings in a court available under mandatory consumer law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the beta develops. We will show the revised date and give reasonable notice of material changes. If a material change requires renewed agreement, we will ask for it before continued use. Changes do not apply retroactively unless law requires otherwise.
